To set notifications from your computer:
- Visit https://business.bell.ca/shop/small-business/security-automation
- Click Log in.
- Select Small business Security and Automation Access or Small business Security and Automation Connect and click Log in.
- Enter your login name and password and click Log in.
- On the left menu, click the Notifications button.
- Click NEW NOTIFICATION on the top right.
- Select the type of event you wish to receive a notification for.
For example, selecting “Arming event” will notify you every time the system is armed or disarmed.
- Select how you want this notification to occur.
For “Arming event”, you can choose to be notified when a user disarms or arms (stay or away) the system. You can also choose whether you want this notification at all times or only between specific times.
- Click ADD RECIPIENT.
- Select a user from the list or click NEW to add one.
- Click CLOSE to close the address book.
- Click SAVE to apply the notification rule.
To set notifications from your smartphone:
- Open the Bell Smart Home app.
- Tap the menu button on the top left of the screen (3 horizontal lines).
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap Manage notifications.
- Tap Add on the top right of the page.
- Tap Create your own.
- Select the type of event you wish to receive a notification for.
For example, selecting “Arming event” will notify you every time the system is armed or disarmed.
- Select how you want this notification to occur.
For “Arming event”, you can choose to be notified when a user disarms or arms (stay or away) the system. You can also choose whether you want this notification at all times or only between specific times.
- Tap Add recipients.
- Select a user from the list. A check mark appears beside the contact.
If the user is not on the list, Tap Add contact and fill in the contact information.
- Tap Close.
- Tap Save to apply the new notification rule.
To set video notifications:
- Visit https://business.bell.ca/shop/small-business/security-automation.
- Click Log in.
- Select Small business Security and Automation Access or Small business Security and Automation Connect and click Log in.
- Enter your login name and password.
- Click LOG IN.
- On the left menu, click the Video button.
- Click Recording schedules.
- Click the pencil icon beside the recording schedule you wish to add a notification for.
- Click ADD RECIPIENT.
- Select a user from the list or click NEW to add one.
- Click CLOSE to close the address book.
- Click SAVE SCHEDULE to apply the notification rule.
