How to manage connected devices

Viewing and managing connected devices

View all devices connected to your network.

  1. Open the Bell Wi-Fi app and log in with your Total Business Wi-Fi pods username and password.
  2. Touch the Devices icon at the bottom of the home screen.

    • Below the device you will see how long the device has been online or when it was last connected to your network.
  3. Select a device to learn more about it.

    • To rename a device, select the menu icon (three dots) at the top right corner and select Rename device or touch the device name to edit.
    • Devices will automatically be deleted from the device list after being offline for more than two weeks.
    • Connection quality, channel and device details (such as MAC address) are also displayed on this page.

Blocking or pausing Internet access for connected devices

Quickly pause a device’s Internet access or set scheduled Internet blocks.

  1. Open the Bell Wi-Fi app and log in with your Total Business Wi-Fi pods username and password.
  2. Touch the Devices icon at the bottom of the home screen.
  3. Select the device you wish to block Internet for.
  4. To pause Internet access immediately, touch the pause icon.

    • Touch pause once to block Internet access for 15 minutes, twice for 30 minutes, or a third time to remove the block.
  5. To schedule recurring times when Internet access is blocked, touch Block Internet access and select one of the available options to block the device for a period of time.
  6. To unblock a device, touch the X next to the Internet block on the device page.

This feature only limits Internet access from your modem. Cellular data can still be used while this function is enabled and downloaded content may still be accessible.
